Our Mission:
In the Fossil Ridge Theatre Company, we strive for excellence in every production and classroom experience. We are dedicated to telling stories that matter, fostering empathy, creativity, and connection through the power of live theatre. As a regionally and nationally recognized program—honored as an International Thespian Festival Main Stage School, an MTI Pilot Program School and having been recognized with 24 Bobby G Award nominations in the last four years, two of those being best overall production of a musical nominations and 5 of those being nominations for best lead performance in a musical - which two of our students won and represented Colorado at the National High School Musical Awards (The Jimmy Awards) —we set the standard for educational theatre. Above all, we are a family, creating a welcoming community where every voice is valued, and every student can shine.

Fossil Theatre 2026-2027 Season
"Changing the Equation"
This fall, Fossil Theatre will be producing The Theory of Relativity. The Theory of Relativity explores how people’s lives are connected and how one small change in a person’s life can affect someone else. It shows that relationships and circumstances are constantly changing the “equation” of our lives.
In the spring, we will be producing Mean Girls the Musical. Mean Girls focuses on social relationships, popularity, identity, and the way people can change when they enter a new environment. Cady changes the social dynamics around her, but she also has to change herself to understand who she really wants to be.
The Fossil Theatre Season of “Changing the Equation” represents the idea that people, relationships, and circumstances are never fixed. A single choice or interaction can change the outcome, just like changing one part of an equation changes the result. Both musicals show characters discovering that they have the power to change their own lives and influence the people around them. This season students will discover how they can change the equations within their own lives.
